Canea Shipping & Trading is a privately owned international business group focused on the global seaborne transportation industry, with activities spanning six continents. For more than 22 years, Canea’s principals have been actively involved across the shipping market, including vessel ownership, investment, shipbroking, ship finance, technical management and commercial management.

Over the past 16 years, the group has developed extensive technical and commercial management experience across a diversified fleet of tankers and bulk carriers of various sizes. Canea’s current shipping portfolio includes partial ownership interests, together with technical and/or commercial management involvement, across 34 vessels with an aggregate capacity of approximately 2.3 million DWT. This diversified platform, combined with deep market knowledge and long-standing relationships with key industry participants, provides the foundation for Canea’s continued growth through shipping market cycles.
